We came and ordered Christmas Pair package (2 person) and added another protein (beef shortplace with garlic sauce). Overall food was good (not great). However the menu in the Christmas Pair, I feel wasn’t Japanese enough; its flavor profile wasn’t really authentic Japanese, more like western Japanese fusion. That aside, I think the place, ambiance, and service are top notch. A kind of date venue to take your love to enjoy a casual yet still romantic dinner. Oh I suggest you make a reservation cause the place is rather small and tend to be booked up quickly.

As much as I love the overall quality, Hiyoko needs to improve their rice to sell. I ate and this did not represent the whole atmosphere and quality of the restaurant that already built up since entering the place. It was not good. But still, other than rice, we really satisfied trying their best selling items. Will recommend this to friends (with note).

Had our last Christmas dinner here, which is just 8mins away from home. Loving the contemporary ambience and the serene view of sunset. Not only pleasing to the eyes, food here is also flavorsome, especially the dessert! Haven’t got a chance to taste their incredible cheesecake, but their tiramisu is absolutely to my liking. Great place to bring your loved ones here.
